Hello Koreatown!
Don’t you love the endless amounts of Korean BBQ or Ramen you can have on your lunch break? We know you do because it’s delicious! We also know that most days you wish there were other delicious options in walking distance, such as a flavorful mole, spicy Indian cuisine or even a gourmet pizza. You are in luck – because Platform 35 Market Hall has arrived!
Platform 35 is an upscale food hall that brings together diverse flavors from around the world under one roof. Not only do we pride ourselves on our renowned chefs who have created these savory dishes, but also by renowned food writers including LA Times’ Jonathan Gold. We are beyond excited to be opening up Platform 35 in the center of the dynamic K-town, where the streets are filled with people searching for the next best bite.
The restaurant scene in Los Angeles is expanding, making it hard to pick from all the delicious cuisines. Platform 35 features 8 new restaurant concepts from a molé bar to fresh Poké, making it a one-stop-shop for locals and adventurous foodies. With an array of delectable dishes, consumers are able to have a unique dining experience in the heart of Koreatown.
Wilshire Boulevard, being one of the most important streets in Los Angeles, was the inspiration for the design of this food hall. Platform 35 pays homage to the history of transportation on Wilshire Boulevard, bringing art, architecture, history and most importantly food together. Platform 35 will have a modern look including many symbolic accents that will take you back to the 1930s. Conveniently located on the Metro Purple Line, Platform 35 is the perfect go-to place to pick up lunch, grab a bite and a drink for happy hour or enjoy a business dinner with some colleagues!
Platform 35 Market Hall is expected to open in 2017. Check back for updates!
