Oktoberfest 2019
Oktoberfest is a nearly month long event running from September 21st to October 6th in 2019. This 200 year old holiday originated in Munich when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on October 12, 1810. This union must have been a big deal as it was celebrated with multiple days of drinking, horse races and lots of tasty foods. Today this tradition is carried on all over the world as it is no secret, people love beer and having fun.
LA’s very own Platform 35 food hall is a new favorite if you are seeking to experience the warmth of a full belly of locally crafted beer and pleasure foods during Oktoberfest.
